1. Homoeopathic medicines are available either in liquid form, (generally preserved in alcohol) or in sugar globules/tablets which is prepared from the medicine in liquid form.

2. Put 2 to 3 drops of liquid medicine into half glass of warm water. Shake and wait prior consumption so that the alcohol evaporates and the contents of the medicine are fully mixed in water.

NOTE:  Dr Bishambar Das recommended administering homoeopathic remedies with warm milk. However, the concept is the same.

3. Take the remedy in sugar globular form just like any other medicine, however, it is strongly recommended to let the globules be dissolved while on patient’s tongue. Homoeopaths believe that absorption through tongue is the fastest mode of administering medicines.

NOTE:  Administer giving the medicines to your children by yourself. Sweet homoeopathic globules will be irresistible for them. 

The reflex action answer is generally NO. But for Patients of chronic diseases following Allopathic protocols of “disease management” (for example blood pressure, diabetes, epilepsy etc; taking certain medicines repeatedly for longer period of time) are required to continue on those Allopathic drugs till the time they start responding positively to homeopathic remedies. Advise to curtail the use of Allopathic drugs has to be from your physician in consultation with your relevant test reports on the recommendation of your homoeopath. Homoeopathy will ultimately try to get you rid of those drugs.

Dietary restrictions are not part of homoeopathic treatment plan. However, as regards certain diseases wherein the intensity of ailment increases after taking certain food items (for example, bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, gout etc); in these cases, it is implied to follow those dietary restrictions till the time patient starts to respond positively to the homoeopathic medicines. After that there is no need to keep observing those dietary restrictions. The concept of cure that the homeopathy offers is far beyond Allopath’s imagination.
